Vietnam is located in both a tropical and a temperate zone. It is characterized by strong monsoon influences, but has a considerable amount of sun, a high rate of rainfall, and high humidity. Regions located near the tropics and in the mountainous regions are endowed with a temperate climate.

Vietnam is new and exotic in the Southeast of Asia, lying on the eastern part of the Indochinese peninsula and limited by eastern latitude 102º 08' - 109º 28' and northern longitude 8º 02' - 23 º 23’. Vietnam has rich natural and human resources which are national potentials to boost its economy development.

Vietnam, a narrow country lies along the coast of East - Sea bordered with China in the north, Laos in the west and Cambodia in the south. Vietnam is often known in the west as “Vietnam War” and “Indochina War” in early of 20th century. After 1975, Vietnam became one country from the north to the south and this period was also the “new page” for Vietnamese after many years in the war- the page of peace and development.
