Ba Vi Tourism Week launched

The People’s Committee of Ba Vi district held “Ba Vi Tourism Week”, entitled “Da River-Tan Mountain Tourism” on 17th April, in response to the National Tourism Year 2010 and towards the Great Festival to mark 1,000 years of Thang Long-Hanoi.

Various art performances and special sports events, such as dragon dance, parachuting, and water-skiing were also held during the the Tourism Week.

Also on this occasion, the event’s organising board will also offer several discount progams for visitors. This is a good chance for Ba Vi to promote tourism potentials and enhance cooperation, cultural exchange between Ba Vi and localities nationwide.

Ba Vi is rich in historical relics and beauty spots such as Tan Vien Mounatin, Ao Vua – Khoang Xanh, Thien Son – Suoi Nga, Mo Stream tourism spots, Ba Vi National Park and hot spring at Thuan My Commue.

The tourism week is expected to attract 1.3 million tourists in 2010.
