Hoi An tourism and culture week to kick off

A tourism and culture week will open in Hoi An ancient town, Quang Nam province this month to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Hoi An Liberation Day. The event will be held by Hoi An City people committee from March 21-28.

According to organizer board, the event will include a parade, traditional performances, a flower arranging contest, a procession of flower-decorated vehicles, youth camps and sports competitions.


To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the city’s Liberation Day and observe Earth Hour 2010, the whole city will switch the lights off from 8.30pm to 9.30pm pm March 27.
