Colorful Tham Bua Festival

People from all walks of life in mountainous district of Quy Chau, Nghe An Province eagerly joined the 10th Tham Bua Festival 2010 at national beauty spot Tham Bua. This is a traditionally cultural festival to be held annually by local authorities for cultural exchange.

Tham Bua festival was officially held from 21st – 23rd of  the first lunar month (March 6 – 8, 2010) with spiritual ceremony, cultural and sporty activities reflecting traditions and culture of minorities in the Northwest of Nghe An.

The festival attracted tens of thousands of visitors in the region and other provinces as well as foreign travelers. There were many festivities and competitions such as Con throwing, bamboo dancing, climbing,...; cuisine festival, handy craft display, ethnic performances and Miss Tham Bua contest.
