Hanoi makes Frommer’s best Asian destination
The capital city of Hanoi is ranked as one the world's most ideal tourism destination, announced Frommer, a US prestigious tourist publisher.
The publishing house with the most bestselling guidebooks in the US suggested travelers to make Hanoi as an ideal choice for tourism as the city will celebrate its 1,000th anniversary and the National Tourism Year in 2010.
According to Frommer, “Hanoi also happens to be Asia’s most Asian city” with plenty of pagodas, temples and historic monuments. Tourists will not be disappointed with delicious dishes, the Old Quarter and the area around Hoan Kiem Lake with water puppetry theatre and art galleries.
Visitors will also have a chance to take a sightseeing tour to trade villages as well as experience traditional performing arts.
